Responsibilities

You will play an active role in all aspects of client engagement. This includes testing and formulating hypotheses, analyzing and gathering information, and communicating and developing recommendations. You will have the opportunity to present the results to client management and to make recommendations in close collaboration with the client team members. You will work in teams with a size of 3 to 5 consultants.

Associates receive training and repeated coaching and mentoring from their team colleagues. This support comprises a local office partner assigned to guide your career and formal training during your first two years as a member. In addition, you’ll receive support and guidance from your local office to assist you build your network and develop your skills.

Although all consultants develop specific knowledge as they advance with WashingtonRise, most of the knowledge required at first is very broad, effectively implying that they do not need specific functional or industry expertise to succeed.

For associates who decide to join WashingtonRise as experienced professionals, this means building on past knowledge or developing experience in a entirely new field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and strong academic record required; advanced graduate degree (e.g., PhD, MBA, etc.) preferred
• Outstanding records of managerial or academic and or professional achievement
• Strong record of leadership in a professional, academic, or extracurricular setting
• Extraordinary quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with people at all levels of the firm
• Capacity to work in a team environment
• Capacity to communicate complex ideas efficiently, both in writing and verbally, in English and in the local office language(s).
